How To Make A Tropical Papaya Fruit Boat

Have you ever tried Papaya? I used to eat it when I was a little girl back in my home country Lagos, Nigeria. My dad used to make tropical fruit bowls and I love it. Ever since I moved to the States, I haven’t had Papaya until I went to Aldi last weekend. By the way, Aldi is a great store that provides affordable food at extremely low prices. Purchased this for $1.69 instead of the expensive price I would have paid at my local walmart or food lion. I saw a papaya fruit boat on twitter and decided to put my own spin on it!

What You’ll Need:

There so many ways to make this depending on your food options.

  1. Papaya
  2. Ice Cream, yogurt or coconut water ( I used vanilla ice cream)
  3. Raspberries ( you can add as many different fruits – Strawberries, coconut chunks, pineapples, cherries and so on.

Cut the papaya in half and use a teaspoon to scrap out the seeds.

Add your liquid ice cream, yogurt or coconut water

TROPICAL PAPAYA BOATS

Ah, summertime. The perfect season to forgo bowls and use fruit instead. Let’s do this! Papaya is packed with Vitamins A, C, and K, and it also boasts plenty of fiber, potassium, and folate. If the health perks still don’t win you over, try cantaloupe or pineapple instead! It works beautifully in this recipe as well. This recipe may be my simplest yet! Tropical papaya boats with loads of topping options! Load your fruit with coconut water, yogurt or ice cream and add some fruit, seeds, and nuts! A healthy, plant-based breakfast or snack.

With Love Always,

Ife
